Social Media will not help you rank higher in Google

There's soooo many times I see a business put Instagram/Facebook links at the website section of their google business profile.

This does absolutely nothing to help your SEO (basically to rank higher in search results).

You can put these social media links in the social media section, its cool for humans to learn more about your content, but NEVER for Google's web crawler.

The crawler is able to read the source code of your website, and therefore rank you higher according to your website content. But it cannot read your Instagram.

90% of the time if a business doesn't have a website, they rank terribly low. (The 10% is for uncompetitive niches.)

If you don't have a website and you rank super low, its still fine. You can literally build a basic website for free nowadays, and you would be much better already. But of course, you can always book a call with me at the home page if you'd like a world class website and destroy your competitors in Google ranking.
